Since the 1988 release of the Tim Burton film, Beetlejuice has been a Halloween tradition. The somewhat comedic off the wall horror film tells the story of a ghostly couple who enlist the help of undead “bio-exorcist” Betelgeuse, pronounced Beetlejuice, to help them haunt and eventually remove the new inhabitants of their former home. The quirky and devious character dressed in the black and white stripes of a jailbird has since become a household name, and Beetlejuice costumes have become a Halloween classic.
