The 2009 computer-animated 3-D film Monsters vs. Aliens tells the story of a woman named Susan who is struck by a meteorite and turned into a giant. Along with a cast of other strange “monsters” including the gelatinous B.O.B, Dr. Cockroach, the strange ape and fish mix Missing Link and giant grub Insectosaurus. When the world is endangered by invading aliens, these misfits are called in to save the day. The animated hit has generated a great interest in Monsters vs. Aliens costumes.
The strange monsters from the movie are available in several Monsters vs. Aliens costumes. Susan costumes include a one piece jumpsuit, belt, and white wig, as well as car-shaped shoes showing off her giant stature. Monsters vs. Aliens costumes for the other monster characters are available as well. Dr Cockroach features a lab coat and cockroach mask, there is a full body suit costume with headpiece for B.O.B. and a Missing Link jumpsuit and mask as well.
