Originally a Japanese comic book, Speed Racer was brought to the United States in the 60′s as a television program, and then later released as more comic books in the 90′s. A 2008 film brought Speed Racer back to public attention. The move plot centers on the Racer family, automobile racing enthusiasts, especially the young man named Speed Racer who along with his girlfriend Trixie must uncover a terrible secret and avenge the death of his brother, Rex Racer, at the same time. The popular series of animated and live action films and television shows have made Speed Racer costumes more popular than ever.
